CONTAINMENT SOLUTIONS - MICROFLOW® HORIZONTAL AND LAMINAR FLOW WORKSTATIONS

The ergonomic design behind BIOQUELL's Microflow horizontal laminar flow workstation helps to create a space-efficient and dynamic working area that also protects the product from airborne contamination. The workstation is available with internal working widths of 0.9m, 1.2m and 1.8m. Glass side screens and integral lighting create maximum visibility and the stainless steel work surface is easy to maintain.

The Microflow OMNI PCR cabinet is the ultimate in PCR workstation design. Class II type airflow at the working aperture protects the operator while laminar airflow offers sample protection. This compact cabinet has an integral UV decontamination system with a safety interlock feature that only activates UV when the door has been fully closed. The adjustable timer allows samples to be decontaminated using a proven protocol.

Providing product protection with negative pressure at the working aperture, the Microflow Vertical Laminar Flow Workstation features filter and airflow alarms. The unit is available with internal working widths of 1.2m and 1.8m and is equipped with a sliding / hinged door mechanism that allows direct access.

ADVANCED BIOLOGICAL SAFETY CABINETS

Providing operator protection against up to category three hazards, the Microflow Class I Advanced Biological Safety Cabinet features a practical sliding / hinged door that allows a 100% seal for fumigation and uninterrupted access.

The Microflow peroxide class II advanced biological safety cabinet is pre-configured for hydrogen peroxide gassing using the Clarus™ L gas generator. This advanced biological safety cabinet provides a practical alternative to using formaldehyde in bio-decontamination procedures.

BIOQUELL's Microflow class III/I advanced biological safety cabinet is a dual-purpose unit featuring a glove port panel and transfer hatch that enables safe handling of dangerous material. The class III/I advanced biological safety cabinet offers operator and product protection against hazards up to category four.

MONAIR® PLUS FUME CUPBOARDS - CONTAINMENT AND PROTECTION

BIOQUELL's Monair plus fume cupboard is available in five different widths, meets all BS 7989:2001 requirements and features an aerodynamic working aperture that ensures constant containment and protection by maintaining constant airflow.

The membrane keypad and digital display are linked to a microprocessor control system that continually monitors the status of the filters, airflow, fan and sash to ensure efficient and safe operation.

The chemically-resistant spillage tray can be easily removed for cleaning and the surrounding acrylic glazing and integral lighting provide excellent visibility. Back-up exhaust filters can be fitted as an additional safety measure, while the integral filters are secured by an innovative new clamping mechanism.

ASTEC® FILTRATION FUME CUPBOARDS - CHEMICAL HAZARD CONTROL

Astec filtration fume cupboards have been developed using the latest filtration technology and represent the ultimate in chemical hazard control solutions.

The Astec fume cupboards range contains a broad spectrum of new developments and established products that combine high levels of operator protection with practical designs. Easy to install and maintain, these fume cupboards are integral to establishing safe working environments and principles. No ducting is required; the activated carbon filtration technology ensures hazardous fumes are adsorbed into the filter.

Astec fume cupboards are supplied in several sizes, including mobile units and mini bench mounted designs. Specialised carbon filtration products are also available where chemical hazard control is required for more specific operations. These include forensic drying cabinets and formalin evacuation units.
