Bolidt Synthetic Products & Systems is a Dutch company specialised in the production and installation of various synthetic flooring systems working on a worldwide basis. The properties of each specific system result in Bolidt floors being suitable in a wide variety of (industrial) environments. Bolidt has gained almost 40 years of experience, always working in close contact with the end-customers, consultants and architects, taking note of their specific needs and requirements. Therefore Bolidt is able to tailor the floor finish, whether the client wants a specific colour or design or whether a specific technical solution is asked for.

FLOORING SYSTEMS

Floors in the pharmaceutical industry differ just as much from each other as the products of the medical technology themselves. Because production within the pharmaceutical industry embraces a wide range of products: from pills and powders to medicines and syrups. From aspirin, insulin and sterile dressings to sweeteners. The same applies for the laboratories: the floors have to be a perfect match for the experiments and research projects that take place there.

Bolidt is the name within this industry that extends from X-rays and blood transfusions to distribution: the pharmaceutical wholesaler.

FLOOR PROPERTIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

Bolidt projects herself into each industry, divided in segment and branch. A chemical plant is after all totally different from a meat plant and can for instance not be compared with a blood transfusion laboratory. Whereas in the former case words like polymerisation, explosion, and governmental regulations are most common, in the latter case hygiene, sterilisation and microbes are used. The way of working and philosophy in each industry influences the character and properties of the floor.

We can provide conductive floors to combat the effect of static electricity in areas with high-tech interference-sensitive equipment where computer operators carry out precision work; floors for the clean areas with a closed-pore surface; Synthetic floor systems that are resistant to the action of (bio)chemical substances; seamless floors that are impermeable; ready-made solutions for the transitions to joints, skirtings, drains and gutters, vulnerable places to bacteria.

BOLICOAT SYSTEMS

Bolidt has developed the Bolicoat systems. Seamless, resilient wall finishes with which the area becomes, as it were, a watertight ‘cocoon'; the transition from floor finish to wall is seamless.

DURABLE AND PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS

Besides being practical floors, which are quick and easy to clean, they are durable solutions as well. Also when the activities on the floor are highly demanding – transport in the frequent and intensive manner in which it occurs in the pharmaceutical wholesale trade.
