Normal Early Passage Cells Now Available from ECACC

ECACC is now able to offer a large range of normal early passage cells, isolated and banked by the long-established company Cell Applications Inc. from San Diego, USA.
A substantial number of cell types are available direct from ECACC stock and include:
- Synoviocytes (normal and disease state)
- Dermal papilla cells
- Endothelial cells (eg HUVEC and Coronary artery)
- Smooth and skeletal muscle cells
- Chondrocytes and osteoblasts
- Preadipocytes
- Keratinocytes and melanocytes
Many more are to be added over the next few months including normal cells from other species such as bovine, avian, canine, porcine, rodentine and lagomorphine.
NORMAL EARLY PASSAGE CELL MEDIA
Available with the cells is the specific growth media recommended for each cell type. The normal early passage cells are cultivated within CAI unique media which is formulated according to the characteristics of the individual cell line.

Based at Porton Down in the UK, the European Collection of Cell Cultures (ECACC) is the largest facility dedicated to the storage, banking and processing of cell cultures in Europe.
