This is a comprehensive two-day course in pharmaceutical potent compound safety with a focus on training EH&S and related professionals in critical technical concepts and pro-active safety programs in the pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology industries. Often referred to as Potent Compound Safety “Boot Camp”, this course is an intensive mixture of lectures, case studies, scenarios, individual and group exercises and video training. The course will be offered in English.
Board-certified health professionals in occupational hygiene and toxicology who have many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry conduct the course. Course materials include a detailed 300+ page course syllabus, summary slides and numerous references. The presentations and materials cover pharmaceutical occupational hygiene, occupational toxicology, environmental toxicology, OH analytical chemistry, risk communication and elements of process safety management. The American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) has approved the course for 2.0 Certification Maintenance Points.
The cost to attend this two-day course will be £1,100 / €1,650. Additional attendees from the same company will be charged £1000 / €1,450 to attend. The cost includes lunch on each day and a complimentary course evening dinner and social event will be provided on the evening of the 8th of November.
