Dragenopharm has 50 years' experience in the contract manufacturing of sugar coated tablets, film coated tablets and hard gelatine capsules.

TABLET AND CAPSULE CONTRACT MANUFACTURING

Dragenopharm deals in the contract manufacturing of tablets and capsules throughout the entire production process, from the warehouse, where the raw materials are stored, through the granulation process, tablet pressing, film coating, sugar coating and laboratory analysis, to the tablet packaging and distribution to the consumer.

GRANULATION PROCESS

The granulation area is explosion protected and has solvent recovery capability. The equipment in this area includes two Gerteis, three Bohle tumble mixers, two Diosna high shear mixer 600s, a Diosna High shear mixer 250, a Lödige mixer, a Glatt fluid bed dryer 120, a Glatt fluid bed dryer 200, drying ovens and vacuum drying ovens.

TABLET PRESSING

The machinery in our tablet pressing rooms includes 15 Fette 1200s, a Fette 3090, and a Korsch 800. These manufacture laminated tablets and multi-layer tablets.

TABLET FILM COATING

The tablets are film coated in an explosion-proof film coating room. The tablet film coating equipment includes three Glatt coaters for 750kg, three coaters for 350kg /540kg / 600kg, a Glatt multipan for small batches of tablets and a laboratory coater.

TABLET SUGAR COATING

The sugar coating area of our contract manufacturing plant contains 40 Brucks coating pans of 250kg capacity.

LABORATORY ANALYSIS

Dragenopharm's laboratory is used for analysis of both the raw materials used in the production of tablets and capsules, and the final product. Our team of pharmacists, biologists and chemists also work on the development of new products and dossiers in the laboratory.

The laboratory equipment includes HPLCs (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography), a UV/VIS spectrometer, an FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared) and dissolution equipment.

TABLET AND CAPSULE PACKAGING

The final section of our production line is the tablet and capsule packaging area. The tablet packaging machinery includes seven PVC-PVC / PE / PVDC blister lines, a sachet filling line, a container filling line and a bottle filling line.
