Werner Bürk Appointed Chief Sales and Development Officer

With effect from April 1, 2007 the supervisory board has appointed Mr Werner Buerk to the management board of Haupt Pharma AG. The main focus of his new responsibility will be sales, marketing, and development. Mr Semmler remains CEO.
Mr Buerk has studied biology in Hohenheim and has gathered more than 20 years of experience in brand management, licensing, business development and corporate management with Procter & Gamble, Dr Karl Thomae, Sankyo Europe, Santen, Innomedica Life Science and Steiner & Co. Mr Buerk has been working for Haupt Pharma AG as head of sales and marketing since October 1, 2006.
