LOBA Feinchemie AG, an independent Austrian company, is located in Fischamend, five minutes from Vienna International Airport. The product range covers a wide range of active pharmaceutical ingredients produced under cGMP, organic intermediates, reagents for analytical applications and diagnostics. Approximately 350 organic compounds from kilo to small ton quantities are available from our catalogue.

Besides this standard portfolio, LOBA offers process development, upscaling and custom synthesis services. One third of the employees hold degrees in chemistry or are trained chemical scientists. More than 80% of the products are exported worldwide. The world's largest pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies are our business partners.

ORGANIC COMPOUND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Customer service: working with highly specific chemicals and reagents requires an attitude of high responsibility and expertise. With respect to chemical legislation, it is virtually impossible for the average user of chemicals to know all legal requirements.

Customer service for LOBA therefore means not only supplying goods and technical information but also support with respect to the use of chemicals, observing legal requirements, health and safety aspects as well as waste disposal in the most environmentally acceptable way.

Development: the main task of the development department is the transfer of laboratory scale processes into production (upscaling). This department works on process development and improvement of methods particularly with respect to environmentally friendly production and minimising of waste. Existing processes are reviewed at regular intervals under all aspects of efficiency and reliability.

Satisfaction: more than 10% of our staff are exclusively responsible for quality control and quality assurance, ensuring the highest quality standards and traceability of all products. From incoming goods through to final product delivery, all relevant quality systems are implemented.

ACTIVE PHARMACEUTICAL INGREDIENTS (CGMP)

During this production process the required procedures are established, as are validation programs for development, upscale and quality control of the APIs. The final product is tested for stability and the raw material is approved. Full documentation is available for all activities.

Full traceability and documentation that guarantees the manufacture of APIs according to cGMP standards is provided. LOBA is subject to the continuous supervision of the US Health Authority FDA, the Austrian Ministry of Health, and other certified and accredited institutions.

UPSCALING AND CUSTOM MANUFACTURING

We take the synthetic process from the laboratory into production scale, making the product exclusively for each customer.

1kg – 5Mt: we offer the ideal range for small to medium quantity requirements. Our production process uses multi-purpose equipment, with reactors ranging from 50L to 3,000L.
