TABLETTING, GRANULATION AND SUGAR / FILM COATING

We manufacture a wide range of products including:

• Granules based on aqueous and organic solvents
• Tablets, coated tablets and sugar-coated tablets
• Hard capsules (filled with powder, granules, pellets or tablets)
• Gels, creams, ointments
• Solutions, suspensions, syrups and emulsions
• Powder blends for powder inhalers

We use the latest technologies to manufacture granules based on aqueous or organic solvents, as well as fluidised bed technology and dry powder compaction. The batch sizes range from 50kg to 400kg, depending on the product involved.

Computer-controlled rotary tabletting machines and double rotary presses guarantee high machine capacities for the production of tablets and cores. The quality of the products is guaranteed by constant in-process controls.

In the encapsulation sector, hard gelatine capsules of various sizes are filled with powder, granules, pellets or tablets at several feeding stations.

SUGAR-COATING AND SEMI-SOLID PREPARATIONS

Film coatings or sugar coatings for tablets protect the product against external influences. Our sophisticated coater technology guarantees perfect film-coated tablets in batch sizes of 90kg to 300kg. Our sugar-coating facility ensures optimum sugar-coated products, which we are particularly able to guarantee on the basis of the many years of experience and concentrated know-how of our staff.

Our specialist staff also manufacture semi-solid preparations, such as ointments, creams and gels, in facilities complying with the requirements of Cleanroom Class D. The products are subsequently filled into corresponding aluminium tubes of various sizes before finally being packed. Liquids are filled into glass / plastic bottles with capacities of up to 250ml.

We use the latest equipment and technologies, such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV spectroscopy and NIR to conduct analyses on everything from incoming raw materials to finished products. We are also fully equipped to perform stability studies according to ICH guidelines, as well as method development, method optimisation or updates.
