Vetter Pharma-Fertigung Awarded "Operational Excellence Class A" Certification

Vetter Pharma-Fertigung has met all of the requested requirements regarding global industry standards for cutting-edge performance in supply chain management.
At the end of November 2005, Vetter Pharma-Fertigung GmbH & Co. KG, the leading specialist for the production of aseptically pre-filled application systems, achieved the status of "Class 'A' Performance" in the process PLANNING AND CONTROL, as the first company in the contract manufacturing sector. The certificate was conferred by the management consultancy Oliver Wight in acknowledgement of excellent "End to End Supply Chain Management".
Vetter Pharma-Fertigung implemented the concept of "End to End Supply Chain Organization", placing the customer at both the start and the finish of the value adding chain. Accordingly, the company aligned the design of its entire value adding chain to conform to the cost and service levels stipulated by Class A Standards. As a result, effective resources planning, reduced order processing times and an altogether higher level of value creation were realized along the entire supply chain.
The company is continuing to work on the sustainable stabilization and improvement of supply chain processes. The next objective is attaining Business Excellence organization status, which also covers strategic processes.
