The European Paediatric Formulation Initiative (EuPFi) has set itself the goal to achieve better and safe medications and dosage forms for children. Drugs are usually developed for adults. For children, taste, dosage form as well as the sufficient precise dosage of the drug is often a challenge. The annual conference aims to provide a platform to exchange ideas among experts from academia, industry and international regulatory authorities.
At this year's EuPFi conference Balda Medical participated for the first time with a presentation and at the same time as an exhibitor. As part of the presentation market demands, challenges as well as first technical solutions for a micro tablet dispenser were presented. Due to Balda Medical's initiative and technological progress, the presentation generated great interest and led to further intensive discussions at the exhibition booth. Through existing projects in tablet dispensing Balda Medical has long-standing expertise in the realisation of such projects.
