Bespak Injectables specialises in the design, development and supply of innovative devices for the delivery of injectable drug products. Disposable auto injector platform

The ASI™ auto injector is a single-use disposable auto injector platform, which is readily customisable for delivery of both biologic and small molecule drugs in either elective or emergency therapies.

The key advantages offered by the ASI™ auto injector platform are:

• Easy-to-use, fully automated devices: needle insertion, delivery of specified dose volume and needle withdrawal (with the safe capture of the needle within the used auto injector device)

Single-use disposable auto injector

Bespak Injectables has developed an off-the-shelf single-use disposable auto injector, based on a commonly-used syringe, needle and dose volume combination. The device encompasses all the advantages of the ASI™ auto injector platform, enabling non-clinicians to safely undertake injections by means of an easy-to-use device, an automated injection process and the capture of the needle inside the used auto injector.

Bespak Injectables' single-use disposable auto injector features audible, visual and tactile cues to inform the user of the status of the injection process. Devices can be configured for either three-step (button-actuated) or two-step (push-actuated) operation, thus allowing flexibility to address the needs of specific patient populations and therapies. Our off-the-shelf device allows our partners to undertake handling studies and user trials in a timely manner.

Needle-free jet injectors

Bespak Injectables' reusable needle-free jet injectors utilise spring power to inject liquid drugs without the use of a needle. A fine stream of liquid is forced through an orifice in a specially designed nozzle, with the velocity of this stream enabling the liquid drug to penetrate the tissue to the required depth.
