MCell is the long-desired, 100% sugar-free water soluble substitute for sugar spheres in drug layering and coating. The controlled and narrow particle size distribution favours reproducible dissolution behaviour of substances manufactured with MCell products.

The MCell spheres consist of 100% Mannitol (Ph. Eur/USP-NF) and are an inert, non-hygroscopic and highly spherical starter core of the use in layering and coating of controlled release formulations.

MCell starter spheres are made with a proprietary spheronisation process, which perfectly allows controlling density, surface texture and particle size distribution. The product has a high mechanical strength, low attrition and a high density. Together with its well defined particle size distribution it is an optimal starter core.

Pharmatrans Sanaq AG stands for its products and services since 25 years. We offer a wide range of different pharmaceutical grades of microcrystalline cellulose, cellulose pellets, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, sugar spheres, sodium starch glycolate, croscarmellose sodium and PVP.
