Proseek is a user friendly, open format reagent kit system for the detection and quantification of proteins in plasma or serum samples by using real-time PCR. It offers the same level of simplicity and openness as ELISA but with some major advantages:
- Extremely low sample consumption, only 1 µl of sample is required for each reaction enabling the study of precious sample, limited biobanked materials, and plasma from laboratory animals
- Easy homogenous assay - no washing steps and very little optimisation required
- High sensitivity, in pg/ml (fM) range, and a broad dynamic range (4-5 logs)
