BioPure Technology manufacture and supply high precision sterile and non-sterile disposable bio-processing flow path components, including tri-clamp hose barb adaptors, barb Y adaptors, end caps, plastic tri-clamps and tube / hose valves.
BioPure BioClamps™ are patented plastic tri-clamps with quick release, specifically designed to meet the needs of busy pharmaceutical and bio-processing industries. They are available in eight sizes: ¾in, 1½in, 2in, 2½in, 3in, 4in, 6in and 8in.

Restriction flow controllers and shut-off valves
The BioPure BioValve™ is a precision restriction flow controller and shut-off valve for silicone tube and thermoplastic tube. It will also work with most flexible hoses including braid-reinforced silicone hose.
The BioValve™ is profiled to minimise flow path turbulence and can be used one-handed. Its thread pitch is calibrated to 2mm per turn, permitting accurate estimation of flow restriction.

Caps to terminate disposable manifolds
BioPure BioEnd Caps™ are designed to terminate a disposable manifold until an in-process new sterile connection is made. They are produced from DMF-listed polypropylene compliant with FDA and USP Class VI.
A uniquely constructed pull-tab ensures easy removal of the cap. BioEnd Caps™ have a pull-tab design for strength but sufficient pliability to avoid damage to packaging.
A permanently moulded lot number ensures total traceability, and the part number, size, date of manufacture, lot number and statement of compliance is printed on the packaging for ease of identification. BioEnd Caps™ are pouched in packs of ten pieces, and manufactured and pouched in an ISO Class 8 clean room.
Hose-tail to tri-clamp adapters
BioPure BioBarbs™ hose tail to tri-clamp adapters are produced from DMF-listed polypropylene that complies with FDA and USP Class VI test protocols. The oversized hose barb design facilitates a strong adhesion to the tubing and ties may not be required.
Sanitary BioBarbs™ feature a true bore design through the entire connector, and the barb design ensures a smooth transition from tubing to adaptor, reducing turbulence.
The identical ID of barb and tubing allows complete full drainage along an unimpeded path. A slight raise at the port of the tri-clover face ensures proper capture of the gasket.
Every hose-tail to tri-clamp adapter has the production lot and size identification permanently moulded. They are pouched in packs of ten pieces, and manufactured and pouched in an ISO Class 8 clean room.
Mini hose-tail to tri-clamp adapters
Our BioBarb™ hose-tail to 1in to 1½in tri-clamp adaptors are also available in a ½in to ¾in mini version.
Hose barbs ‘Y’s
BioPure Y-BioBarbs™ hose barbs are designed to meet the same high performance standards as BioBarbs™. They are produced from DMF-listed polypropylene that complies with FDA and USP class VI test protocols.
The oversized hose barb design facilitates a strong adhesion to the tubing and ties may not be required. Y-BioBarbs™ feature a Y-junction, which splits the flow with minimum turbulence and optimum flow rate.
The identical ID of barb and tubing allows full drainage along an unimpeded flow path, and compression between the tube and fitting eliminates the by-pass of the media to potential entrapment areas.
All Y-BioBarb™ hose barbs have production lot and size identification permanently moulded onto them. They are pouched in packs of ten pieces, and manufactured and pouched in an ISO Class 8 clean room.
BioPure's platinum-cured silicone gasket resists temperature extremes, ozone, corona, radiation, moisture, compression sets, weathering and chemical attack, and imparts no taste or odours to fluids that are in contact with it.
BioPure silicone gaskets withstand repeated autoclaving and resist the adherence of blood products and other sanitary fluids.
Each gasket is marked with a lot number on the outer diameter. This ensures full traceability once a gasket has been removed from its original packaging and has been placed into a working system.
