INITIATOR™ MICROWAVE SYNTHESIS SYSTEMSThe Initiator microwave synthesiser enables medicinal chemists to quickly synthesise compounds using microwave heating. Chemists can easily load and run samples in just a few simple steps using the embedded touch-screen control and graphical user-interface. The system has an expanded volume range of 0.2ml to 20ml with the EXP upgrade. For automated operation, an eight or 60-position robotic assembly can be added, expanding the system's functionality. POLYMER-BOUND REAGENTSPolymer-bound reagents are functional polymers that perform synthetic transformations in the same way as their solution counterparts. Excess reagents and by-products remain attached to the resin, while the end product is purified by simple filtration. SCAVENGER RESINSScavenger resins selectively react with excess reagents and reaction by-products to quench reactions and allow removal of bound chemicals by simple filtration. Using scavenger resins, chemists can save time and achieve compound purities exceeding 85% for many frequently-used reactions. SILICA-BASED SORBENTSSilica-based sorbents, functionalised with either a sulfonic acid group or a quaternary amine, can be used to isolate either basic or acidic compounds from reaction mixtures in catch and releases, and scavenging SPE. ISOLUTE HM-N COLUMNSISOLUTE HM-N columns and 96-well plates, packed with a diatomaceous earth support, provide a simple and rapid approach to aqueous workup. This hydrophilic insert support can be used instead of traditional Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE) protocols, eliminating emulsion formation and improving reproducibility. FLASH CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEMS AND CARTRIDGESPrepacked flash purification cartridges and automated flash purification systems reduce compound separation time and increase throughput. SP™ systems operate at higher pressures using patented technology, increasing flow-through and reducing purification time. A unique automated-method creation feature quickly creates sample-specific methods using TLC data. Built-in solvent monitoring, pressure control and fraction arm positioning ensure sample safety, eliminating any loss due to malfunction. SP systems are available as single and multi-column systems, and reduce the time needed to achieve successful separations. AQUEOUS AND ORGANIC SOLVENT EVAPORATIONRevolutionary new patented three-way drying technology speeds and improves solvent evaporation. The Biotage V-10 not only evaporates both aqueous and organic solvents up to 40 times faster than traditional rotary and centrifugal systems, but also protects the sample against bumping and overheating. Versatility and scalability eliminate handling and reformatting issues.
