Nobel Enterprises, based in Stevenston, Ayrshire, have chosen Broadbent as partners for a new expansion plant to be built in Thailand. Nobel Enterprises aims to double the group production of Nitrocellulose (NC), a film-forming resin used in the inks and coatings market, by using six additional Broadbent basket centrifuges.
The machines that were part of our comprehensive stock of used equipment at the Broadbent main works in Huddersfield, will be fully refurbished with all hydraulics being replaced by energy-efficient variable-frequency drives and single-axis ploughs to minimise cycle time. All the machines will have dedicated PLC control panels - linked to a controlling DCS, and ATEX category 2 local panels.
As with all machines fully refurbished by Broadbent Customer Services, all new parts and workmanship are backed up with a 12 month guarantee. The control systems, which are fully designed, built and tested in our own works, will be supported by FAT and SAT documentation.
The machines, which are to be delivered over the next 12 months, will then be installed, commissioned and optimised by our own experienced service engineers.
