Introducing the new VERTEX 80V high-resolution vacuum FT-IR spectrometer for demanding research applications.
MUNICH, Germany - April 26, 2006: At the Analytica Conference today, Bruker Optics launched its new VERTEX 80V vacuum Fourier transform infrared spectrometer for high-end research applications.
As a vacuum spectrometer, the new VERTEX 80V provides the ultimate rejection of the interference from atmospheric gases, such as water vapour and carbon dioxide. Data acquisition is based on dual-channel 24bit ADCs integrated with the detector, which yield the highest signal-to-noise ratio available. The VERTEX 80V's new linear air bearing UltraScan interferometer with True-Alignment active alignment system allows better than 0.07cm-1 optical resolution, and gives excellent stability.
The new VERTEX 80V bench-top vacuum FT-IR spectrometer incorporates flexibility, upgradeability and ease-of-use. A wide range of features, including the Bruker Artificial Intelligence Network (BRAIN), Automatic optical Component Recognition (ACR), the plug & play Ethernet connection and Automatic Accessory Recognition (AAR), make the VERTEX 80V unmatched in the class of bench-top research FT-IR spectrometers.
Outstanding versatility is assured by automated multi-detector and multi-source selection, along with software control of two external input and up to five exit beam ports. The VERTEX 80V also offers a wide spectral range extension from the very far IR (or THz) range through the mid and near IR up to the visible and UV ranges.
