SURFACE AREA AND PORE SIZE BY GAS SORPTION

The Autosorb-6B and Autosorb-3B can are floor-standing or bench-top high-throughput surface area and pore size analyzers. The systems feature three (Autosorb-3B) or six (Autosorb-6B) independent sample ports, which allow different sample types and analyses to be accommodated at any one time.

SINGLE-PORT SURFACE AREA AND PORE SIZE ANALYZER

The Autosorb-1 MP/Kr is a premier, high-performance, single-port surface area and expanded-range pore size analyzer. A very small micropore range is possible by virtue of the high-vacuum, turbomolecular system and precision low-pressure transducers. Very low surface area materials are accommodated as standard; the system is already krypton-enabled so no upgrade is necessary.

FOUR-PORT SURFACE AREA AND PORE SIZE ANALYZER

The Quadrasorb™-SI is a versatile, four-port surface area and pore size analyzer. It operates in both patented helium-free and classical modes. Sample independence is assured by individual transducers and coolant baths, unique analysis types and even different start-times.

HIGH-SPEED SURFACE AREA AND PORE SIZE ANALYZERS

The Nova® e Series is a range of high-speed surface area and pore size analyzers for quality control and research. This range meets different throughput needs with single or multi-port (two, three or four sample stations) models. Nova’s small footprint includes built-in sample preparation stations.

AUTOMATED SINGLE-POINT BET SURFACE AREA ANALYZER

The Monosorb™ is a rapid, automated single-point BET surfacearea analyzer that uses a dynamic flow technique. It provides a reliable and consistent performance with microprocessor-controlled calibration and features a built-in sample preparation station.

CHEMISORPTION AND VAPOR SORPTION

The ChemBET™ 3000 TPR/TPD is a compact catalyst characterisation unit for metal area, dispersion, nanocluster size and surface-area measurements (BET) by rapid-flow (pulse injection) techniques.

The Autosorb-1-C combines chemisorption and physisorption capabilities in a single instrument and includes all the capabilities of Autosorb-1-MP/Kr model as standard. Fully-automated in-situ treatment of samples includes gas switching and heating profiles.

The Hydrosorb™-1000 is an automated, rapid water sorption analyzer for precise measurement of moisture adsorption and desorption isotherms. The rugged, stand-alone or PC-operated unit includes a color graphic display for real-time status and results.

GAS PYCNOMETRES

The Pentapycnometer™ is a five-station, automatic gas pycnometer for specific volume and true (skeletal) density measurement of porous solids and powders. Each of the five stations can be individually tailored for different sample amounts / shapes.

The upgraded Ultrafoam™ Pycnometer is for cellular plastics applications. It conforms to ASTM D6226 standards. Pre-programmed modes include open and closed cell %, isometric compressibility and rigid foam fracture. The Ultrafoam pycnometer retains all the features of the standard Ultrapycnometer, including normal density mode with rapid (keystroke) switching between styles.

DENSITY ANALYZERS

Autotap™ and Dual Autotap™ are tap density analyzers for bulk density and powder packing studies, including Hausner Ratio and Carr Index for predicting flowability. A built-in counter ensures error-free operation. Automated one and two-sample models feature unique adapters for range of sample cylinder volumes.

Both units conform to B527, D4164 and D4781, USP<616> method II and ISO 787/11 ASTM test methods.

MERCURY POROSIMETRY ANALYZERS

The PoreMaster® and the PoreMaster® GT are automatic pore size and pore volume distribution analyzers that use the rapid mercury intrusion method. Both versions have two built-in low-pressure analysis ports (for pore sizes above 4μm), which also automatically evacuate and correctly fill sample cells with mercury.

The high-pressure cavity, used for pore sizes smaller than 4μm, accommodates one sample cell in the standard unit (two cells in the GT model) for greater throughput.
