Xantus Junior is a compact and cost-effective robotic liquid handling platform, and is now available with integrated robotic microplate handling. This optional feature expands the flexibility of Xantus Junior and facilitates further automation of pipetting and plate preparation protocols.

The optional robotic handling tool can be used to move microplates between functional modules, such as a shaker, incubator, vacuum station, plate washer and reader etc. Whilst also making more efficient use of the deck space by enabling plate stacking.

Xantus Junior can also be equipped to use the disposable tips, which can be stacked on the Xantus Junior deck to increase capacity.

Sharing many design features and functional elements with the Xantus line, Xantus Junior is a perfect addition to the OEM portfolio, extending your application solutions to address a cost and size sensitive market.

Xantus Junior features one or four pipetting channels, equipped with washable or disposable tips. Each channel is controlled by a unique Xantus microannular gear pump, which is mounted in the robot arm, leaving the deck space open and available for a wide variety of deck-ware. The tips can accurately address tubes, reagent bottles and troughs, and 96 and 384-well plates. Whilst also featuring individual liquid level sensors with optional clot detection.

The Xantus family provides a complete OEM product portfolio using similar design, shared software and common parts. Xantus Junior offers a cost effective and flexible solution, where size is important.
