Whitehouse Scientific produces a unique range of glass microspheres for calibrating all methods of particle size analysis from the humble sieve to the most complex laser diffraction analyser. The standards, which range from single sizes to blends covering a 10:1 ratio are packaged in single dose bottles to reduce sampling errors by the analyst.
In addition, a new method of pore size distribution in filter media has been developed, which can reveal fine internal detail in filters from 50 - 700 microns. Where filter efficiencies are required, maximum pore sizes down to 3 microns can be determined. All the standards, whether used for size calibration or pore size determination are NIST traceable.
