Equipment and services for stability testing and storage needs

A specialist in the simulation of environmental conditions, Vindon is a provider of equipment and services designed to solve specific environmental testing and storage needs, including stability testing, thermal testing, thermal cycling, ramp and soak, long term material testing, accelerated stress testing, drying, cell culture, controlled humidity exposure, and photostability. Stability storage – ultra low temperature and cryogenic storage services

Vindon’s stability suite comprises temperature and humidity controlled environmental rooms and cabinets, operating at ICH and bespoke conditions. In addition ultra-low temperature freezers and cryogenic freezers can, if required, be completely dedicated to clients’ needs.

Vindon Scientific’s storage facilities incorporate a number of advanced engineering features; these include remote performance monitoring, dual control systems and emergency power supply equipment.

The suite is constantly monitored by an intruder alarm system and can only be accessed by designated key holders. The environmental rooms are protected by high and low temperature and humidity alarms, and are constantly monitored by a data acquisition system with out-of-hours notification capabilities.

Our suites of rooms and chambers are held at temperatures ranging from -196ºC up to +60ºC and at humidity levels between 15% and 95% relative humidity - we routinely have chambers and rooms operating at the following conditions:

• Cryogenic and vapour phase nitrogen

Stability storage services in Ireland

Recognizing the growing importance of Ireland as a centre for pharmaceutical research and development, Vindon’s Tramore stability storage suite offers a full range of ICH conditions, along with unique conditions as required, in a secure and reliable environment. With on-site service and validation engineers, Vindon are now well placed to offer a full and comprehensive service to our pharmaceutical and biological research customers in Ireland.

Cryogenic storage

Vindon have now introduced their expertise and experience into cryogenic storage services. Vindon’s new vapour phase and liquid nitrogen storage facility offers a solution for almost every cryogenic application on the market today.

Vindon’s Cryobank provides a secure storage ‘hub’ for the preservation of stem cells, cord stem cells, DNA and bone marrow at temperatures down to –196ºC.

Built on extensive experience in stability storage for the pharmaceutical industry and more than 20 years' experience gained in the storage of biological samples, Vindon provides the co-ordination and distribution of samples from specialist laboratories, hospitals and NHS trusts.
