We have extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and have proved ourselves to be the partner of choice to several of the top-ten global pharmaceutical leaders, emerging life science companies and leading generic manufacturers.

Aesica has three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the UK with our corporate headquarters in Newcastle and a US office located in New Jersey. Between them, the three manufacturing facilities spread across more than 200 acres and employ over 700 people.

Our API manufacturing facilities include seven computer-controlled multi-product plants, all with extensive chemical processing capabilities, some of which include potency facilities. We manufacture a broad range of APIs and are experienced in managing technical transfers quickly and efficiently.

COMMERCIAL API MANUFACTURING

Aesica has world-class facilities for manufacturing products on a commercial scale to cGMP standards in campaigns from 50kg to 100mt. Our seven computer-controlled multi-product plants have extensive chemical processing capabilities, several of which include potent facilities.

PAROXETINE HYDROCHLORIDE ANHYDROUS / HEMIHYDRATE

Paroxetine is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) type. It is effective in treating depression as well as a spectrum of anxiety disorders ranging from panic attacks to phobias. Aesica has both European and US DMFs for this product and is currently supplying leading generic customers in Europe and North America.

FLURBIPROFEN

Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID) used to relieve pain, tenderness, inflammation and stiffness caused by arthritis. Aesica has a US DMF and a European DMF and sells material into every continent.

Aesica Pharmaceuticals was also recently granted a Certificate of Suitability for Flurbiprofen by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM), which confirms the compliance with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia monograph.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID).

R(-) FLURBIPROFEN

Purified enantiomer of flurbiprofen, in clinical Trials Phase III for Alzheimers disease.

S(+) FLURBIPROFEN

Purified enantiomer of flurbiprofen.

DOTHIEPIN HCI

Dothiepin (dosulepin) is a well-trusted tricyclic anti-depressant with some tranquillising properties. Aesica has a European DMF for Dothiepin has manufactured it for many years.
