Established in 1990, Manrochem Ltd is a process engineering design house with the ability to implement those designs as projects. In addition to providing process engineering and project management, we can carry out civil, structural and vessel design. Utilising our company in India, we have the ability to augment our UK based services with low cost, high value engineering services.

Manrochem has executed projects from feasibility studies to full design and build projects. Our 800 projects to date range in value from £20,000 to £7million.

Our technical transfers services include:

CONTRACT RESEARCH SERVICES

Our contract research service is based on information supplied by clients, molecule development beginning with a literature survey, developing laboratory method and manufacturing process, and finally providing a resource for clients to direct.

We can provide and measure contract research resources using your current methodology or based on:

• A team of development chemists led by a PhD or MSc for each project
• Milestones or 'fee for product' depending on state of development
• Laboratory infrastructure, analytical and Quality Control (QC) support

PROCESS SCALE-UP AND DEVELOPMENT

Our experience in primary manufacturing ranges from production of synthetic organic molecules to isolation of medicinal plant extracts. Our expertise allows us to develop novel, cost-effective processes for medicinal or nutraceutical products.

We can help you in secondary manufacturing, developing a formulation or dosage form for new compounds or re-formulation of existing compounds. We provide manufacturing processes for formulations using either new or existing equipment and facilities.

DOSAGE DELIVERY FORMS

Manrotech's experts have experience in virtually all dosage delivery methods and are constantly exploring new ways of improving both over-the-counter and pharmacy only pharmaceutical products. This includes solid dosage forms, inhalation delivery systems and injectable dosage forms.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT FOR PHARMACEUTICALS

Intellectual property management for pharmaceutical applications is fundamental to Manrotech's work. Protection and development of intellectual property is as important to us as the physical tasks to be carried out, be it contract research, process scale-up or technical transfer.

MANROPHARM - MATERIALS SOURCING

Manropharm is a division of Manrochem specialising in sourcing materials for the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, operating from Huddersfield and Chennai. Through our contacts in the European and Asian chemical manufacturing industries we can promote beneficial associations between manufacturers and vendors.

Manropharm additionally undertakes site-auditing operations to inspect potential supplier sites, and also offers sales and marketing services.
