Expansion Plans for Perfecseal

Perfecseal, a global market leader in the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industries, plans to begin operations in Suzhou, China, in November 2008. Prompted by the significant growth in the use of healthcare products and services in China, this expansion will allow Perfecseal to provide its high value protective packaging materials for medical device and pharmaceutical products to the fast growing Chinese market.
The addition of this plant in Suzhou, China, places Perfecseal in a prime location to service our global customers. The new plant layout will support lean manufacturing and provide a medical class with 100,000 cleanroom fabrication. These enhancements will provide Perfecseal with the world-class facility needed to deliver a broad range of packaging products and services to the Asian pharmaceutical and medical device markets.
Perfecseal’s continued investment in global healthcare protective packaging market capabilities will further enable the company to promote its activities in risk reduction and process improvement, staying on target with the goal to be the best packaging solution provider for the healthcare industry.
The placement of new capabilities and capacity in the Asian market enhances Perfecseal’s ability to support customers worldwide from a global manufacturing and service platform. The additional plant in Suzhou, China, will increase the number of world-class, state-of-the-art Perfecseal facilities to eight.
