Lately, we have also been able to carve a niche for ourselves by acquiring the manufacturing technology to produce transdermal patches. And with the acquisition of this reservoir patch technology we now hold patents of our own. We are proudly one of the first nine companies in the world that own transdermal patch technology.

ABOUT UNITED PHARMACEUTICALS

United Pharmaceuticals started actively operating in 1989 with a humble start with merely 50 employees. In a short span of time, United Pharmaceuticals has established a very strong and solid presence in the local market, the Middle East, and the European countries.

In 2002 as part of our strategic expansion plans, United acquired Stowic Resources Ltd., a UK-based company with technologies for producing transdermal patches. In 2004, United received the Brazilian GMP certificate (ANVISA) for its oral solid production lines.

As United is strictly adhering to the guidelines of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), the company’s high standards and first class quality of production were further validated when we successfully renewed the European GMP certificate in year 2004 and for three years.
