Originally operating as an installer of high purity piping, A&B quickly gained the reputation as a company that completed projects on time, under budget and because of their experience, were able to make the installation better in the process.

ASME PROCESS VESSELS AND SKIDS

A&B has over 250,000ft² of manufacturing floor space for the fabrication of process vessels and skids. With over 400 employees and 200 certified welders A&B is a leading supplier of stainless steel pressure vessels in the US.

A&B can develop a process to meet the requirements of your specific application or apply one of our proven systems for:

• Mixing and blending systems - batch and continuous
• Process modules – from a simple thermal skid to a complete pasteurization system
• Clean-in-place – single or multiple tank designs with waste minimization cycles
• Sterilize-in-place – chemical, thermal or steam injected configurations for complete kill
• WFI systems – rough filtration through reverse osmosis to ensure purity of process
• VacuShear – vacuum powder induction eliminates dusting and foaming and increases concentration
• Formulation systems – single or multiple ingredient formulation systems with automated recipe selection and integrated load cells to verify additions and final concentrations

HIGH PURITY PROCESS VESSELS AND REACTORS

A&B’s newest state-of-the-art facility only manufactures stainless steel or higher alloy process vessels and reactors. This ensures the quality of the polished surfaces by preventing contamination by airborne carbon dust. All surfaces are stabilized before they are exposed to unfiltered air.

PROCESS ENGINEERING SUPPORT

A&B’s process engineers are experienced in supporting its customers with as much or as little engineering as is required. A&B can work with your process experts from the beginning to develop the P&ID and advance the design all the way through manufacturing and integration, or A&B can work with your existing engineering resource to manufacture and integrate your systems to an existing design specification.

AUTOMATION AND CONTROLS

A&B has in-house electrical and automation engineers that can meet any and all of the control requirements for your process. A&B also has complete panel manufacturing capability and programming expertise in-house to ensure quality, continuity and on-going support.

FAT AND SAT

A&B’s standard procedures provide for a complete factory acceptance testing of the process systems by the customer at our facility prior to acceptance and shipment. This capability allows you to certify capabilities and readiness for service before it gets on your plant floor. It not only allows you and your operators to become familiar with the systems, but saves valuable time during start-up.

PROCESS PIPING

A&B provides pipe polishing, piping modules, prefabricated piping spools, transfer panels and valve clusters for customer projects. These high quality assemblies provide for improved quality control and accelerated installation.

INSTALLATION

As a specialty mechanical contractor, A&B has a full-time, in-house installation crew that travels to the customer’s sites to install all types of sanitary process systems and provides on-site welding / piping services.
