This powder-in-blister platform is designed for clinical testing, small-series production of inhalation preparations and first product launches.
The line consists of two line segments and forms its own closed production circuit. The aluminum blister is cold-formed in the blister machine. Powder filling is performed in the OMNIDOSE. Depending on the fill weight and flow capability of the powder the roller-type and plunging siphon filling principles or other customized filling systems are used in the OMNIDOSE. In the blister machine the lidding material seals the filled blister cavities. The sealing process takes place in an inert atmosphere. Longitudinal and cross cutting dies are used to make individual blister strips from the web material. The finished blister is transferred outwards via the outfeed belt. Stations for embossed coding, perforation and online imprinting can be optionally integrated.
