GE Healthcare announces the launch of Capto™ adhere, a strong multimodal anion exchange mediumfor post-protein A purification of monoclonal antibodies at process scale. The multimodal ligand gives a different selectivity compared to traditional ion exchangers.
Capto adhere can remove key contaminants such as DNA, host cell proteins, leached protein A, dimers and large aggregates, and viruses in a single step, allowing the design of a two-step process together with MabSelect SuReTM
