Novasep Process, Orelis new Kerasep™ Kompact membranes are available in a wide range of cut-offs for the separation of organic molecules, water soluble polymers, emulsions and specific inorganic products.

The new Kerasep™ Kompact membranes are high flux rate ceramic monoliths which offer a filtration area of 0,23 m2 for one membrane. New Kerasep™ Kompact have 52 channels and are available in a range of cut-off going from microfiltration to ultrafiltration.
Novasep Process offers different Orelis® modules configuration ranging from 1 to 99 membranes per modules.

The main characterictics of the Kerasep™ membranes are:
 High filtration flow rate and separation quality
 A broad range of cut-offs between nanofiltration and microfiltration
 Highly compact due to the variety of multi-channel geometries offered (7, 19, 27 and 52 channels Kerasep™ Kompact)
 Excellent resistance to chemical constraints and aging
 Possible counter-current operation
 Membranes made with FDA-approved materials

Among Kerasep™ Rosace membranes main applications are for the Biotech and food applications:
 Extraction and clarification of fermentation liquids to produce medicinal products (antibiotics, vaccins, additives or ferments...)
 Apyrogenic water and process water
 Clarification of juices (soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, wine)
 Milk concentration etc...

Novasep Process, Orelis' new Kerasep™ membranes are adaptable to varying viscosities and concentrations, have a very compact design and therefore offer a quick return on investment.
Novasep Process also has a range of trial or Lab scale modules Orelis® that allow feasibility studies undertaken at laboratory and industrial scale.
