Novasep Process Presents its New Cyclojet® Chromatography Technology

Nancy, France - May 15th, 2006: Novasep Process announces the launch of the Cyclojet, a new steady state recycling chromatography technology for preparative HPLC.
Cyclojet is a non-continuous, recycling chromatographic process using a single column that increases both the productivity and recovery yield by two to tenfold compared to classical preparative HPLC. It is especially suited to the lab scale and pilot separation of chiral compounds. Cyclojet boosts performance compared to preparative HPLC and offers the following benefits to its users:
- Higher productivity: improved by two to tenfold
- Higher recovery yield as both purified fractions are recovered with yield greater than 99%
- Lower operating costs: the production time is reduced and requires less stationary phase and the use of less solvents
- Unique computer-assisted optimisation with an optimised version of the modelling software CycloHelp™

The Cyclojet option is now available for all Novasep Process Hipersep® HPLC units and can also be proposed as an upgrade for existing preparative and process-scale HPLC equipment.
