One Global Company in Four Regions

02 October 2008

Anhydro Group has announced structural modifications to implement their next level worldwide strategy. CEO Allan Jørgensen has announced a modified structure to strategically align the Group in further implementing the next step of its strategy.

“This structure will position us in a way that we can be more customer driven and effective in the increasingly competitive environment. We can better adapt to the individual and changing environments in all regions world wide,” he says.

After establishing the Anhydro Group in 2004, the four companies (Dedert, US; Vetter, Germany; Drytec, UK; Anhydro, DK;), which focused on drying and evaporation, were merged into one group. Initially, the four strong brands were maintained under the group umbrella to prepare for the re-branding under one name.

Since January 2007, all group companies and offices unitedly act as Anhydro. The long and complex experience of the founding companies was merged with the strength of a large group, now being a truly global supplier. The further implementation of a industry oriented structure (Centers of Excellence) enabled to build on synergies between products and applications, and further develop the product portfolio in the various markets.

"The strong commitment to our customers now makes us take the next step. With the further knowledge gathered under the Center of Excellence organization, we now focus on the regional differences in the four geographic areas: North America, South America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific," says Allan Jørgensen.

He adds: "The regional offices will be catalyzed and supported by three technology centers with the relevant product and process expertise. They are located in the EMEA region in Søborg, Denmark and Kassel, Germany, and in the North American region in Chicago, US."

In this way, one of the major advantages, highlighted by Allan Jørgensen, is that the new organization will provide a regional focus, while maintaining the industry and process competencies. Further advantage is consolidating and strengthening the engineering capabilities worldwide.
