Precipitation, adsorption and biological treatments

Effluents from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry often exceed particular thresholds due to high concentrations of surfactants, dyes, etc. Controlled blending of the different effluents facilitates the required equalisation to allow the employment of treatment regimes like precipitation (physico-chemical treatment), adsorption or biological treatment.

Depending on the client’s specific applications, tailored combinations of process regimes will ensure optimal treatment results. If required, particular effluents are treated prior to blending to achieve the optimum effluent compositions to allow the recovery of valuable resources. Our broad expertise will guarantee a high IRR, taking into account the specific requirements of any particular customer.
