Around 35 Open Integration programme partners gathered together at Endress+Hauser in Reinach, Switzerland, to share...
A year ago Endress+Hauser had the pleasure of opening its European Center of Competence (CoC) dedicated to the life science industry. Located in Reinach, Switzerland, the center was inaugurated two years after the successful establishment of the American Center of Competence in Greenwood, Indiana.
The competence centers are dedicated to the growth and development of sustainable projects and solutions in the life sciences and regulated industries market. This directly corresponds to the strong demand from our customers who have to manage projects according to GAMP.
Most of our customers are consistently confronted with the problems associated with multiple sourcing – process measuring instruments and controlling / monitoring systems supplied by several companies.
Experience shows that working with Endress+Hauser means customers are better served for a number of reasons:
- Their requirements are understood and verified with the traceability matrix
- The increasingly stringent quality requirements are implemented
- Risks are correctly assessed
- Everything is documented
As auditing becomes standard practice with drug manufacturers and other customers, we now find that audits are increasingly being carried out at our CoC, as conformity issues are crucial at each and every stage of the project.
Consistency and continuity in the approach to quality are essential for all life sciences activities. If they are well integrated in the project management, they enhance the fluidity and progress of the projects through efficiency and stability and contribute significantly to delivering projects on time and on budget.
