Colestilan chloride (MCI-196, colestilan, colestimide, Cholebine, BindRen) is a non-metallic phosphate-binding polymer. Choline and BindRen are formulated as tablets and granules for oral route of administration. Cholebine is used for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and familial hypercholesterolemia.
