Fulvestrant overview

Fulvestrant (Faslodex/Frexivo), a selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD), acts as anti-estrogen agent. It is formulated as injection, solution for intramuscular route of administration. It is indicated for the treatment of hormone receptor positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women with disease progression following anti-estrogen therapy. It is indicated for the treatment for advanced breast cancer, with a distinct and different mode of action.
