ZND-5 is under clinical development by Zentalis Pharmaceuticals and currently in Phase II for Relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia. According to GlobalData, Phase II drugs for Relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia have a 20% phase transition success rate (PTSR) indication benchmark for progressing into Phase III. GlobalData’s report assesses how ZND-5’s drug-specific PTSR and Likelihood of Approval (LoA) scores compare to the indication benchmarks. Buy the report here.

GlobalData tracks drug-specific phase transition and likelihood of approval scores, in addition to indication benchmarks based off 18 years of historical drug development data. Attributes of the drug, company and its clinical trials play a fundamental role in drug-specific PTSR and likelihood of approval.

ZND-5 overview

ZNd-5 is under development for the treatment of hematologic tumors including relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia, relapsed and refractory non-Hodgkin lymphomas including diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), follicular lymphoma (FL), marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), large cell lymphoma (LCL), peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL), breast cancer and acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL, acute lymphoblastic leukemia). It is administered through oral route. The drug candidate acts by targeting B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL-2 ) protein.

It was under development for treatment of relapsed or refractory light chain (AL) amyloidosis (primary systemic amyloidosis).
