Anapen®2a is the Next Generation of Anaphylaxis Auto-Injectors

Anaphylaxis is a serious and severe allergic reaction, affecting the whole body, and is often life-threatening.

In severe cases, the cardiovascular system can completely collapse. Severe allergic reactions are triggered by any chemical or allergen that stimulates a rapid immune response, and common allergens can range from food to materials such as latex.

Anaphylaxis is treated with an intramuscular injection of adrenaline into the thigh, although it kills up to 2% of patients who experience an episode. The main cause of anaphylactic fatalities is the late injection of adrenaline, leaving symptoms to worsen and resulting in death.
