Dr Reddy’s Launches Amlodipine Benazepril in USA

Dr Reddy's Laboratories has launched amlodipine benazepril capsules, a generic version of Novartis's drug Lotrel, in the US market. Amlodipine benazepril is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. The once daily capsule is launched in 2.5mg / 10mg, 5mg / 10mg, 5mg / 20mg

Dr Reddy's Laboratories has launched amlodipine benazepril capsules, a generic version of Novartis's drug Lotrel, in the US market.

Amlodipine benazepril is indicated for the treatment of hypertension.

The once daily capsule is launched in 2.5mg / 10mg, 5mg / 10mg, 5mg / 20mg and 10mg / 20mg capacities.

Dr Reddy's and Novartis entered into a patent settlement over the generic drug after agreeing to dismiss lawsuits filed in the USA in September last year.

On 15 April this year, Indian drug manufacturer Dr Reddy's received US FDA approval for its abbreviated new drug application for amlodipine benazepril.
