Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 194,296,000, with more than 4,162,000 deaths and over 140,338,000 recoveries reported.
The US, India, and Brazil occupy the first, second, and third positions, respectively for total confirmed Covid-19 cases reported.
India has reported the highest number of new confirmed cases, with a seven-day average of approximately 38,000 confirmed cases per day, and has currently fully vaccinated 6.9% of the population.
Of the 7MM, the US, Spain, France, and the UK have each reported over 80,000 confirmed cases per million population.
The UK saw a small decrease in case numbers between 18th – 23 July; however, these figures do not yet take into account any effect of restrictions being eased on Monday 19 July.

In Spain and the Netherlands cases increased after social distancing restrictions at bars and nightclubs were removed.
The Delta variant accounts for approximately 99% of cases across the UK, and given its highly infectious nature, nightclubs and other indoor social venues will likely lead to an increase in cases especially in unvaccinated and partially vaccinated young adults.
In Asia, China reported 76 new cases on Sunday 25 July, a record high since January, as a local outbreak in the city of Nanjing caused authorities to begin a second round of mass testing.
Thailand has reported a record high in daily cases, 15,000 new cases, and Malaysia has surpassed one million total reported cases since the start of the pandemic.
In Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City is being placed an overnight curfew to combat the rise in cases caused by the Delta variant.
