Valeant Pharmaceuticals has completed the acquisition of the Switzerland-based branded generic manufacturer PharmaSwiss.
The senior management team of PharmaSwiss will reportedly remain with Valeant, while Valeant’s business in central Europe will be combined with the PharmaSwiss corporate structure, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland.
Valeant hope that PharmaSwiss’ branded generic portfolio will strengthen the company’s presence in the region.
