PPD has launched the Clinical Trials Mobile application for Apple‘s iPad and iPhone to provide clinical research participants and investigators with access to clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
The application provides quick and advanced keyword search menus, allowing users to search more than 100,000 global clinical trials across the US National Library of Medicine.
By customising searches by location, gender, age and other search criteria, the application gives users details about specific trials such as eligibility criteria, trial locations and contact information.
In addition, investigators and potential trial participants can register in PPD’s ClinicalTrials.com database to be alerted as new clinical trials become available that meet their specific criteria.
