Chesapeake said it has developed a new paperboard packaging range that can be formed into pods to hold liquids.

The packaging supplier said its Impressions range of packaging uses a low-energy process to form paperboard materials into desired shapes.

The new packaging aims to serve the drinks, confectionery and healthcare markets, according to packagingnews.

Chesapeake has developed the technique using Billerud‘s fibreform paperboard material, the company said.
