Temperature dry-block calibrators
By developing new techniques to improve the performance, accuracy and convenience of the well-known JOFRA calibration products, AMETEK is able to maintain its position as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of temperature dry-block calibrators.
Reference temperature calibrators
AMETEK’s new reference temperature calibrators, the RTC-156 and RTC-157, are more sophisticated than other calibrators on the market.
The RTC series of reference temperature calibrators provides precision temperature calibration of sensors, whatever the type or format. This is accomplished through an innovative active dual-zone heating technology.
The new RTC calibrator comes in three different models:
- RTC-A reference temperature calibrator
- RTC-B reference temperature calibrator with input for reference sensor, DLC sensor and sensors-under-test
- RTC-C reference temperature calibrator with input for reference sensor and DLC sensor
Advanced temperature calibrators
The JOFRA ATC series is a range of advanced temperature calibrators that feature a unique active dual-zone heating block that is designed to ensure optimum temperature homogeneity in the calibration zone of the block. This design eliminates the major uncertainties due to heat loss through the sensor-under-test and from the top of the block.
The dry-block design, combined with the external reference sensor input, means that the ATC series advanced temperature calibrators feature both the accuracy of a laboratory calibrator and the speed and portability of a dry-block.
Industrial temperature calibrators
The JOFRA ITC series of industrial temperature calibrators offers portability and ease-of-use at a reasonable cost without sacrificing accuracy, performance and features.
ITC series industrial temperature calibrators are generally used for critical process control but applications can vary based on calibration and testing requirements. They are available in three different temperature ranges (-23°C to 155°C, 50°C to 320°C, and 50°C to 650°C) and all models are equipped with RS232 serial communication capabilities.
Easy temperature calibrators
The ETC series is designed for tests and verifications of temperature sensing devices in the field. These easy temperature calibrators are ideal when time is a critical factor and the highest accuracy is not a requirement.
The ETC series offers reduced size and weight so the unit can fit into a toolbox or instrument carrying case, and can be used for sensors that are difficult to access. The ETC easy temperature calibrator heats up by up to 100°C per minute and completes a full dual-point test in less than 10min, including stability time.
ATEX and CSA-certified industrial pressure indicators
JOFRA IPI industrial pressure indicators bring together the ease of an analogue gauge with the accuracy and easy-to-read display of a digital calibrator. JOFRA IPI industrial pressure indicators can be used in a variety of applications, from safety valve checks to system pressure verification.
The IPI series offers 18 different pressure units, long battery life, high accuracy and even serial communications. The accuracy of the IPI rivals that of a pressure calibrator and is temperature compensated for shop or in-process applications. This versatile unit is available as a stand-alone indicator or in a complete test system.
