FREWITT SA located in Fribourg, Switzerland, and NATCO PHARMA LTD located in Hyderabad, India, are pleased to announce NATCO’s choice of FREWITT SA in the area of micronising, notably hammer milling, with NATCO’s purchase of FREWITT’s FLEXMILL HAMMERWITT-3, part of the FREWITT FLEXMILL PRODUCTION LINE. In addition, NATCO has chosen FREWITT’s conical sieve mill, the EASYMILL CM-200, part of the FREWITT EASYMILL LINE, for the de-agglomeration of material.

“NATCO and FREWITT have developed a close relationship over the past few years.  The project for fine micronisation became vital for NATCO, as their need for temperature-controlled milling in order to protect the product became critical. Collaborating once again made perfect sense, when combining our mastery of tight particle size distribution, control of the product temperature, as well as being able to offer a mobile machine platform capable of filling multiple IBC’s and drums. Finally, we were able to easily understand their requirements, as we have already installed machines at NATCO with great success.”, explained Roy Housh, Director of Sales at FREWITT.

“NATCO develops and distributes new products in order to improve the health of patients in India and worldwide.  To do so, we choose the best, value-added and technical solutions. Our past micronisation requirements have been successfully fulfilled by FREWITT. Therefore, when we wanted to order new machines, we quickly chose Frewitt. Their hammer mill, the FlexMill HW-3 with a water-cooled jacket for temperature-sensitive material, on a mobile platform and lift allows us to micronise while protecting ingredients’ characteristics and filling the product into containers of multiple dimensions. In addition, we have ordered Frewitt’s conical mill, the EasyMill CM-200, which is proven and provides the highest quality of de-agglomeration”, commented, Dr B R Reddy, Director – Formulations at NATCO.
