ZETA’s Perspective on Enhancing Buffer Management Concepts

There is a noticeable trend towards capacity expansion and process intensification for cell culture and fermentation processes. This is also an important issue for ZETA, which has established InFlow, a large-scale buffer in-line conditioning system that can be fully integrated into an upstream and downstream facility. Through intensive engineering efforts and the construction of several prototypes, a system has been developed that produces a wide variety of buffers on demand while meeting the stringent requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. This technology serves as the foundation for future buffer management concepts and is enhanced by advanced production simulation capabilities.
