Luxembourg-based company Eurofins Scientific’s IT hiring declined 1.4% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.58% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 5.85% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.51% decline over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Eurofins Scientific IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Eurofins Scientific, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.17% in July 2022, and a 25% rise over June 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 30.17% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 31.37%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 22.41% in July 2022, a 16.13% drop from June 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Eurofins Scientific
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 58.62% share, which marked a 13.92% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 24.14%, registering a 27.27% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 12.93% share and a 53.13% drop over June 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.45% and a month-on-month increase of 33.33%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.86%, registering a 75% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with an 18.1% share in July 2022, a 5% growth over June 2022. Spain featured next with a 12.93% share, up 400% over the previous month. US recorded a 12.93% share, a decline of 51.61% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Eurofins Scientific IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.07%, down by 28% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.83% share, a growth of 27.78% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 18.1% share, down 4.55% over June 2022.
