The industry’s overall hiring increased by 5.24% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Top five pharma companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 23.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s pharma industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
GlaxoSmithKline posted 58 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by Bayer with 27 jobs and a 20.59% drop. Eli Lilly and with 25 IT jobs and Novo Nordisk with 20 jobs, recorded a 13.64% flat growth and a 39.39% decrease, respectively, while F. Hoffmann-La Roche recorded an increase of 800% with 18 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.7%, down by 4.26% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 36.96% share, registered a decline of 19.05% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.91% share, down 40% over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.43%, recording a month-on-month decline of 80%.
