US-based company Johnson & Johnson’s IT hiring rose 57.2% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 46.7% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.3% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.49% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Johnson & Johnson IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Johnson & Johnson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 49.8% in June 2022, and a 154.17% rise over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.33% in June 2022, and registered growth of 150%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 14.69% in June 2022, an 111.76% rise from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Johnson & Johnson

North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 61.22% share, which marked a 219.15% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 23.27%, registering an 111.11% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 13.88% share and a 209.09% rise over May 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.63% and a month-on-month decline of 60%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 57.96% share in June 2022, a 255% growth over May 2022. Belgium featured next with a 5.31% share, up 44.44% over the previous month. India recorded a 3.67% share, an increase of 350% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Johnson & Johnson IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 45.71%, up by 133.33% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 43.27% share, a growth of 231.25% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.02% share, up 80% over May 2022.
