Poland’s pharma industry registered a 5.7% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.43% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 16.16% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.99% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.46% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in October 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 49.23% in October 2021, registering a 77.78% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 27.69% share, an increase of 200% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.23%, registering a 14.29% decline from September 2021.

4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 6.15%, up 300% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 154.55% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during October 2021 over September 2021.

F. Hoffmann-La Roche posted 17 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 325% over the previous month, followed by GlaxoSmithKline with 16 jobs and a 23.08% growth. AstraZeneca with 16 IT jobs and Pfizer with 4 jobs, recorded a 700% growth and a 300% growth, respectively, while Bayer recorded an increase of 50% with 3 job postings during October 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.77%, up by 100% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.92% share, registered an increase of 57.14% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.31% share, up 60% over September 2021.
