Spain’s pharma industry registered a 12.3% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.19% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.31% share in November 2021, recording an increase of 1.76% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s pharma industry in November 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 65.96% in November 2021, registering a 47.62% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 17.02% share, an increase of 166.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.51%, registering a 33.33% decline from October 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.26%, down 71.43% over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 50% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s pharma industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
F. Hoffmann-La Roche posted 23 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 109.09% over the previous month, followed by Sanofi with 6 jobs and a 20% growth. Centre for Genomic Regulation with 4 IT jobs and PSI CRO with 3 jobs, recorded a 300% flat growth and a 50% flat growth, respectively, while Grifols recorded a decline of 57.14% with 3 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.7%, up by 20.83% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 34.04% share, registered an increase of 23.08% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.26% share, flat growth over October 2021.
